This seminar is the fourth of a four-part Family Business series hosted by Kreischer Miller.

A good estate plan is a vital cog to ensure the continuation and succession of the family business and the preservation of wealth within the family. The program will cover and explore current and expected future estate tax legislation, strategies for gifting and charitable giving, and creating liquidity within the estate. Participants will receive a road map for the important steps in the planning and specifics to preserve wealth by family business owners.

Meet the Speaker: Michael W. Donahue

Michael W. Donahue is a director in Kreischer Miller?s Tax Strategy ervices Group. He has a wide range of experience in tax services including planning, consulting and compliance for closely held companies and their shareholders. Specific areas of concentration include entity selection, accounting methods and periods, buying and selling businesses, international issues, tax credit studies and estate planning. He earned both his BBA and MBA from Temple University and has held positions in the tax departments of both international and regional accounting firms.

From Philadelphia and PA Turnpike:

Take the Schuylkill Expressway (76W) to 476N (Blue Route/Plymouth Meeting) to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (276E). You will be going toward New Jersey.

Take Exit 343, formerly Exit 27 (Willow Grove) off the PA Turnpike. Follow Rt. 611 North to the second light (look for the Hess gas station on the left) and get into the left turn lane. Make a left onto Blair Mill Road and then take your first right into Williamson?s.

Heading SOUTH on Rt. 611 (Easton Road):

Make a right onto Blair Mill Road at the Hess gas station and then take your first right into Williamson?s.

Heading EAST on Rt. 63 East ? (Welsh Road):

Turn left onto Blair Mill Road (Prudential Campus will be on your right) and follow it for about 1 1/10 miles. Go past Gibraltar Road, which comes in only on your left, and turn left at the second driveway immediately past the Madison Bank into Williamson?s.

Heading WEST on Rt. 63 - (Moreland/Welsh Road):

Turn right onto Blair Mill Road (Prudential Campus will be on your left) and follow it for about 1 1/10 miles. Go past Gibraltar Road, which comes in only on your left, and turn left at the second driveway immediately past the Madison Bank into Williamson?s.
