This seminar is the first of a four-part Family Business series hosted by Kreischer Miller.

Since successful intergenerational transitions require competent, committed successors, this initial session will focus on the process, the resources, and principles of successor development in preparing the next generation for leadership. Several successors will share how their customized development plan reflects their unique interests and goals as well as the current and future needs of the business. Participants will hear real life examples of successor development at work and will learn the key elements of a solid successor development plan.

Meet the Speaker: Henry D. Landes

Henry D. Landes is the founder and President of the Delaware Valley Family Business Center, which has served over 400 family firms since 1989. Using his unique Model for Helping Business Families Thrive, Henry and his team of consultants help business families speak the truth about the real issues, build strong, effective teams and develop policies and plans for the future. He is a contributing editor of Family Business Magazine and a frequent speaker to family businesses and advisors of family firms.

From Philadelphia and PA Turnpike:

Take the Schuylkill Expressway (76W) to 476N (Blue Route/Plymouth Meeting) to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (276E). You will be going towards New Jersey.

Take Exit 343, formerly Exit 27 (Willow Grove) off the PA Turnpike. Follow Rt. 611 North to the second light (look for the Hess gas station on the left) and get into the left turn lane. Make a left onto Blair Mill Road and then take your first right onto Gibraltar Road. (There is a Madison Bank on the corner.) In 3/10 mile on the right is the North Point Office Center, a 3-building cluster of white buildings. We are the first of the three (200 Gibraltar) and are located on the second floor (Suite 200).

From 611 South - Easton Road:

Make a right onto Blair Mill Road immediately before the Hess gas station and then take your first right onto Gibraltar Road.(There is a Madison Bank on the corner.)In 3/10 mile on right is the North Point Office Center, a 3-building cluster of white buildings. We are the first of the three (200 Gibraltar) and are located on the second floor (Suite 200).

From Rt. 63 East - Welsh Road:

Turn left onto Dresher Road at traffic light. After the second traffic light (Witmer Road) turn right at the next road (the road comes in only on the right) which is Gibraltar Road. We are located in the North Point Office Center on the left, a 3-building cluster of white buildings. We are the last of the three (200 Gibraltar) and are located on the second floor (Suite 200).

From Rt. 63 West - Welsh Road:

Turn right onto Blair Mill Road (Prudential will be on your left and Allegro on your right) and follow it for about 1 1/10 miles. Turn left onto Gibraltar Road (Gibraltar comes in only on your left; there is a Madison Bank on the far left corner) and about 3/10 mile on right is the North Point Office Center, a 3-building cluster of white buildings. We are the first of the three (200 Gibraltar) and are located on the second floor (Suite 200).
